In order to build up a procurement and SCM department we are looking for an internationally experienced colleague (all gender) to transfer his/her PIONEERING SPIRIT and all professional expertise from HQ to our USA subsidiary.

Your responsibility:

  • You are responsible for our US purchasing and supply chain management and manage, plan and implement complex international sourcing and value add strategies together and in coordination with the HQ in Germany 
  •  You are an important key person in the US operations team and ensure sustainable and stable partner management spearheading value add 
  • You negotiate supply and service contracts and contractual relationships in an international environment at competitive conditions and even handle the orders 
  • You are responsible for our projects and contribute to the introduction of new Supply Chain concepts 
  • You proactively act as a SOLUTION PROVIDER and defense against impending supply problems as a component of supply security and in the event of supply bottlenecks 

You have:

  • A degree in business administration or supply chain management and/or several years of relevant professional experience in an international context 
  • At least 3 years of experience in procurement and its system set-up in a multinational environment 
  • The ability to transfer your expertise as well as our standards and values from HQ to our US subsidiary based on competence, empathy and excellent communication tools 
  • Experience in mould/tool procurement within the industrial industry (low to mid volume environment) 
  • A strong customer orientation and consulting skills  
  • A profound understanding of procurement management and cost optimization 
  • A strong technical background and/or understanding 
  • Readiness for domestic travels as well as regular business trips to HQ

  • A quick learner with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, maintain focus, and adapt to a variety of challenges 
  • Able to conduct detailed procedures in a time constrained environment 
  • Good in having strong sense of time organization and urgency 
  • Able to work independently and within a team
