Operations goes international. Within our Coporate strategy GROW(ING) TOGETHER 2030 and in addition to our production sites in Germany, we are planning to set up another site in Romania (located in Pitești, Target size: approx. 150 employees).  
 
Looking for a dynamic role where you can set up and lead our production processes in a greenfield environment? As a Production Manager (m/f/d), you'll ensure efficiency, quality, and innovation in every step of the production cycle. Join us and be one of the driving forces behind operational success!

The Role | Your tasks.

  • Take responsibility for capacity and personnel planning, ensuring alignment with short-, medium-, and long-term forecasts to optimize resource utilization.
  • Continuously monitor and improve production processes, focusing on efficiency, quality, and meeting deadlines. Leverage plant- or department-specific KPIs to evaluate and refine workflows and operations.
  • Actively manage and resolve issues on the shop floor to maintain smooth and efficient production activities.
  • Oversee the start-up and ramp-up of work systems and machinery, ensuring seamless integration and uninterrupted operations.
  • Ensure clear and effective communication within the production team to maintain a consistent and targeted flow of information.
  • Lead, develop, coach, and motivate our shopfloor employees to foster growth, engagement, and high performance.
  • Exemplify and uphold the company’s core values, setting a strong and inspiring example through leadership and actions.
  • Close collaboration with the headquarters in Germany, along with a willingness to spend several weeks in Germany during the onboarding period.

Your experiences and competencies.

  • Possess an academic background in electrical or mechanical engineering, complemented by a strong operational skill set and expertise in business administration, including the use of management tools and KPIs. 
    Alternatively, hold a comparable qualification as a master craftsman or technician, supported by relevant professional experience.
  • Demonstrate substantial experience in the electrotechnical sector, with a particular emphasis on production processes and lean methodologies.
  • Proficient in English and Romanian, both written and spoken; German language skills are considered an advantage.
  • Key Competencies: Display a greenfield mentality, exceptional problem-solving and communication abilities, a proactive and structured approach to work, analytical thinking, a strategic mindset, and a high degree of personal responsibility.
