Established in 2018, DEHN Nederland (headquartered in Amersfoort) is a key part of the DEHN Group. With a strong commitment to innovation and quality, DEHN Nederland focuses on delivering advanced services and solutions in lightning protection, surge protection, and safety equipment to the Dutch market. 

We are looking for a forward-thinking and entrepreneurial Managing Director to lead and further develop DEHN Nederland. In this key role, you will shape the direction of our Dutch organization, strengthen our market position and drive sustainable growth in line with our global strategy GROW(ING) TOGETHER. 
You will oversee all commercial activities in the Netherlands - with a clear focus on sales, marketing and customer engagement - while ensuring operational excellence and strong collaboration with our headquarters. The Managing Director reports directly to the Head of Sales Region South & West Europe. 

Your responsibilities.

  • Responsibility for the whole subsidiary including General Management, Sales, Marketing, Administration and Compliance 
  • Development and implementation of the price-, product- and growth strategies in accordance with the strategy of the group of companies as well as local requirements
  • Active management of sales and marketing with focus on efficient structures and solution sales to achieve ambitious sales and profit targets  
  • Anticipation and understanding of trends, developments and new sales opportunities, building strong relationships  
  • Drive growth and transformation to support the Group’s strategic priorities of internationalization, digitalization and sustainability 
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team with vision and a firm attitude 
  • Fostering a value-based culture of excellence, innovation and collaboration 
  • Ensuring leadership principles and Corporate Governance 
  • Commercial responsibility for the subsidiaries’ results 
  • Day to day management of the subsidiary 
  • External representation of the subsidiary in connection with the DEHN brand and active operational role in customer engagement and development 
  • Close cooperation with the headquarters in Germany 

Your Requirements.

  • Academic level in electrical (or mechanical) engineering with a strong commercial skill set  
  • Several years of leading experience within multinational companies in the electro technical sector and a strong focus on sales/marketing/business development
  • A personality full of high energy, integrity and loyalty with the ability to focus on essentials, to offer direction and orientation  
  • Passion for technology and sales combined with a global business and entrepreneurial mindset 
  • Strategic thinking with the ability to translate vision into action 
  • Strong financial acumen with experience in managing budgets, P&L statements, transfer pricing and cost control 
  • High affinity for Business Development, Digitalization and Customer Centricity  
  • Long term experience and skills in strategic market development as well as a profound operational sales experience (direct and via wholesalers) 
  • Excellent communication and language skills in Dutch and English as well as a high level of intercultural competence 
  • Being well-balanced, team-oriented, appreciative and experienced with an inspiring and demanding leadership style characterized by courage and enthusiasm, openness and resilience 
  • Necessary experience and skills in leading remote-working teams
