IT Support Specialist | IT Technical Consultant (m/f/d)

Our operations are going international. As part of our corporate strategy GROW(ING) TOGETHER 2030, and in addition to our production sites in Germany, we are establishing another site in Romania (located in Pitești).
Your role and key responsibilities
- First-level IT support via phone, email, or ticketing system
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and basic network issues
- Install, configure, and maintain laptops, workstations, and peripheral devices
- Support for Windows OS and standard business applications
- Manage basic user administration (account setup, password resets)
- Document incidents and solutions in the ticketing system
- Escalate complex issues to higher-level IT support
- Prepare and configure IT equipment for new employees (onboarding support)
- Support of local IT infrastructure and workplace systems
- Collaboration with international IT teams to improve services and support processes
Your qualifications and competencies
- Degree, diploma, or vocational training in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
- At least 1 year of experience in IT support, service desk, or a similar role (internships also considered)
- Good Windows OS and standard office applications skills
- Basic networking knowledge
- Experience with ticketing systems (e.g., Jira or similar tools)
- Knowledge of Active Directory user management is a plus
- Experience with remote support tools is an advantage
- Romanian and English language skills required; German is a plus
- Located in/near Pitești is considered an advantage
- Willingness to travel occasionally to Germany for onboarding or training
- Service-oriented mindset and enjoyment in helping others
- Strong communication & teamwork skills
