Become a valued team member in this mission and join us as HR Business Partner Corporate Functions. As the central HR contact for our growing global hub (current focus: Spain and Romania) you will execute and manage the entire employee life cycle from hire to retire in your area of responsibility. You’ll provide professional support and foster cross-country collaboration. Working with Corporate HR Germany and local providers, you’ll ensure a seamless HR experience that builds trust. Beyond daily operations, you’ll help shape our service hubs, drive global teamwork, and support continuous development in an international environment.  


This position reports functionally to Corporate HR Germany (dotted line) and disciplinarily to the Managing Director of our DEHN Romania (solid line). Your working base will be Pitesti, Romania.  

Your tasks.

  •  HR Contact person for our hub-employees (on-site and remote) in all HR-related questions.  
  • Manage global recruitment for corporate functions in coordination with local Business Partners.  
  • Consultation for managers on employment law matters.
  • Advisory services on personnel development and planning of measures.
  • Collaborate with local HR consultancies, payroll providers and law firms.
  • Maintain HR policies for both countries in line with global standards (Current hubs: Spain and Romania, the establishment and expansion of hubs in other countries is in the pipeline). 
  • Align closely with HQ HR, country HR managers and our HR Manager of our Romanian plant (Mutual representation).  
  • Coordinate cross-location HR processes within the matrix structure.  
  • Oversee HR databases, payroll data preparation, and key HR reporting. 

Your experiences and competencies.

  • Several years of operational HR experience within an international environment.  
  • Strong knowledge of Romanian employment law, plus willingness to learn Spanish employment law.
  • Skilled in working with external payroll and HR service providers.
  • Confident handling of international HR processes within matrix organisations.
  • Expertise in HRIS systems, contract documentation, and people administration.  
  • Solid understanding of employee leasing, remote work regulations and compliance topics.
  • Excellent communication and intercultural skills.
  • Independent, structured, and solution-oriented with a hands-on mindset.
  • Service-oriented and trustworthy mindset.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally.
  • Fluent Romanian and English (written & spoken); German/Spanish beneficial.
