We are looking for a motivated and strategic Global Account Manager (all genders) to spearhead DEHN’s expansion within the Data Center industry. This pivotal role, operating within a global team, will focus on establishing a comprehensive global network from the ground up. The successful candidate will engage with all key stakeholders, including data center owners, operators, engineering firms, EPCs (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction companies), and installation partners, to position DEHN as the leading provider of electrical protection and safety solutions.

The ideal candidate will excel in business development, relationship management, and consultative selling, driving significant and measurable impact across all regions.

This position functionally reports to DEHN's headquarters in Germany, with the work location based in the United States. 

Your tasks.

  • Drive global sales of DEHN’s products and solutions within the Data Center sector, ensuring consistent growth and market penetration.
  • Identify and cultivate new business opportunities through strategic acquisitions, networking, and proactive outreach initiatives.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive account strategies to meet and exceed revenue and growth objectives.
  • Build and nurture strong, long-term relationships with key stakeholders, including data center owners, operators, engineering consultants, and installation partners.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for global accounts, ensuring seamless alignment and communication across all levels of the customer organization.
  • Strengthen DEHN’s presence within the Data Center ecosystem by actively participating in industry events, conferences, and professional associations.
  • Effectively communicate DEHN’s value proposition to decision-makers at all levels, from technical specialists to executive leaders.
  • Collaborate with regional and local sales teams to ensure consistent messaging and flawless execution of strategies.
  • Promote knowledge sharing and the adoption of best practices across subsidiaries to amplify DEHN’s global impact.
  • Engage with internal and external stakeholders to deliver tailored, customer-focused solutions that address specific needs and challenges.

Your experiences and competencies.

    • Mandatory Requirement: Demonstrated experience within the Data Center industry (e. g. colocation, hyperscale, or enterprise environments).
    • Proven success in global account management or business development, showcasing a strong track record of achievements.
    • Familiarity with electrical protection, safety solutions, or infrastructure products is considered an advantage.
    • Exceptional skills in networking, negotiation, and communication, enabling effective collaboration and relationship building.
    • Capability to operate within a matrix organization, with the ability to influence stakeholders across various levels and regions.
    • Flexibility and readiness to undertake international travel as needed.
