As the Finance Director for the Business unit APAC/ME, you will be responsible for the strategic management of all administrative functions within the Business Unit to support our goals and sustainable growth in line with our global strategy GROW(ING) TOGETHER
 
You will play a pivotal role in driving exceptional results for the Business Unit, collaborating with regional leaders as well as cross-functional teams. You will be an important business partner to the Leader of P&L to support profitable growth, strong cash flow and continuous improvement. You will directly report to the Business Unit Director APAC/ME and functionally to the CFO of DEHN SE (Global Headquarters, Germany).  
 

Key responsibilities:

  • Further Development and Management of all administrative functions including Finance, Controlling, HR, IT and Compliance Management within the entire Business Unit
  • Drive planning, budgeting and forecasting processes to oversee the Business Unit’s (financial) performance, to drive improvements and to facilitate the achievement of financial goals and long-term targets
  • Guide the region’s business based on KPIs, trends and further indicators to enhance value creation, maximize Business Unit value and to improve efficiency in order to drive strategic and sustainable growth and long-term success
  • Develop analyses and business cases for strategic planning, decision making and optimization of the operative business
  • Designing, implementing, and managing processes and controls for integrity and adherence to DEHN policies in order to ensure that global governance standards are met
  • Collaborating with internal and external auditors and tax advisors to ensure full compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements as well as DEHNgroup policies
  • Leading staffing and payroll coordination with external providers and managing internal as well as country specific personnel and finance settings in line with corporate standards set by headquarters in Germany
  • Implementing change management strategies to support organizational transformation and growth
  • Link between headquarters and the Business Unit for each functional area (communication channel in both directions)
  • Management of the administrative functions within the Business Unit which means leadership, development and coaching the diverse team by fostering a collaborative and high-performance environment 

Position Requirements:

  • General management studies with a focus on controlling/finance, professional certifications are advantageous
  • Minimum 5 years of international experience in comparable functions, ideally within the manufacturing or engineering industry
  • 360 degree view for all management issues by having the capability to go into details where needed, but to create a big picture at the same time
  • Proven expertise in strategic financial planning, analysis and control with a strong understanding of both IFRS and local accounting standards
  • Demonstrated ability to manage and implement initiatives to improve cash flow including working capital management
  • Strong analytical capability to understand the inter-relationships and interfaces in order to identify operational problems, to analyze variances from planned results and to generate solution oriented approaches
  • Ability to think on country-, Business Unit- and group level as well as to understand, feel and live our company values
  • Energy, integrity, loyalty, resilience and openness to change
  • Strong leadership qualities to attract, retain and develop highly identified talents
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to align functional strategies with organizational goals
  • Proficient written and verbal English communication skills

  • Experience in managing cross-functional finance projects and initiatives in fast paced environments that drive continuous improvement
