We are a leading, international family-owned company based in Neumarkt, Germany. We offer solutions and services in the fields of lightning protection, surge protection and safety equipment. Our operations are going international. As part of our corporate strategy GROW(ING) TOGETHER 2030, and in addition to our production sites in Germany, we are planning to establish another site in Romania (located in Pitești, with an expected workforce of around 150 people).
 
To further strengthen our digital customer support, we are launching a new public online community forum for DEHNplan and DEHNrisk. For our new hub in Pitești, we are looking for a Community Manager / Forum Moderator (m/f/d) who will work fully integrated into our German team.

Your role and key responsibilities

  • Forum Moderation & Community Care for DEHNplan and DEHNrisk: ensuring a friendly, professional and constructive discussion environment.
  • User support: Responding to user questions and forwarding complex cases to internal support and product teams.
  • Ticket escalation: Creating support tickets in JIRA when necessary.
  • Community engagement: Activating and growing the community using gamification elements (badges, ranks, challenges).
  • Content quality assurance: Ensuring compliance with forum rules, netiquette and data protection standards.
  • Knowledge building: Preparing recurring questions as FAQ articles and coordinating with experts on technical knowledge posts.
  • Bilingual communication: Interacting with users in German and English.

Your qualifications and competencies

  • Strong technical understanding of software solutions; experience with engineering or planning tools is a plus.
  • Experience in community management, forum moderation or IT support is an advantage.
  • Very good written communication skills in German and English.
  • Experience with CRM systems, ideally Microsoft Dynamics, or willingness to learn.
  • Customer‑oriented, empathetic and confident in handling inquiries – even in challenging situations.
  • Ability to moderate in an impartial, solution‑oriented and fair manner.
  • Independent, structured way of working with a high sense of responsibility; ability to work effectively in a distributed remote team.
  • Willingness to work primarily within the Central European Time (CET) zone.
